I've recently embraced my curl and now I'm ready to graduate from home haircuts and Hair Cuttery and find myself a real hairdresser! However, I'm poor. Everything I'm finding online says "Women *starting* at $50" and I just can't swing that, not even once in a while. I'd prefer to stay in the county east/north of the city, but recommendation beggars can't be choosers.

  I usually go to [Studio 1622](http://www.hairsaloninbaltimore.com/#cid=glbc) also in Fells Point. I'm a man, but I believe women start at $35, $30 on Tuesdays. Plus they usually offer you water, coffee, beer, or wine when you walk in the door. That was a first for me.
