Tailor/seamstress in South Charlotte or Steele Creek areas? I've recently gotten a promotion and need to have my professional clothes (mostly pants) altered--can anyone recommend a seamstress or tailor for mens pants in South Charlotte or Steele Creek?

Go see Wally at [Myers Park Tailors](http://www.myersparktailors.com/) on South Kings Drive next to the Melting Pot. I've used him before and would highly recommend him.
Can someone recommend me a good men's tailor here in Charlotte? Been getting back in shape and need to get some old suits tailored to fit me better.

[Myers Park Tailors](http://www.myersparktailors.com/) Walid is very, very good.

I've asked the same question of several friends in the area and Walid of Myers Park Tailors on S Kings keeps coming up. I haven't made it over there yet; but for what it's worth...

Also going to go with Walid at Myers Park Tailors. My husband has a very very thin frame and is shorter than average. It was impossible trying to find a suit for him. We found one that went an inch over the shoulder on each side and took it to Walid to see if he could do anything with it. I looked Walid up before hand and many people said that he saved him money by saying things didn't need altered and that he was amazing, etc etc. When we went in, Walid pinned it up and showed us what he COULD do. He also showed us a suit that he had made and told my husband he could try it on. It fit him SO much better. The suit was of serious quality and cost less than the crappy ill fitted suits we had found elsewhere AND he altered to fit him perfectly. The backing it made of canvas, which is much easier to take care of. You don't have to iron it or take it to the dry cleaner unless it's actually dirty. It was a wonderful experience and he altered the suit in less than two days time. He's awesome.
Can anyone recommend a good, affordable tailor, preferably in or near uptown? My legs are fairly short for my height. On top of that, I have abnormally muscular legs. And no, I don't even lift, bro. So as you can imagine, I'm never *ever* satisfied with my pants, jeans, etc. "Relaxed fit" is always too loose and looks kinda frumpy. But I can't seem to find a middle ground between that and [Frank Reynolds in skinny jeans](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHhzD2XEoWA).

Myers Park Tailors all the way. They've done multiple suits for me and the result was always excellent. http://www.myersparktailors.com

Anyone been to Anna's alterations on East? I was going to go to Myers Park tailors but they are closed Mondays. How much should it cost to tailor a suit? Shorten sleeves, make jacket larger, hem pants, make waist larger?
Looking for a good tailor... can you recommend someone? I've tried Anna's Alteration, and they were simply OK. Nothing special, and they have gotten a few alterations wrong (trousers too long, stuff like that).
I'm looking to have several nice shirts altered; more specifically, slimmed down, and I just don't trust Anna's Alterations to do what I need.
Can anyone recommend a good tailor in the area? I live in Harrisburg, but I don't mind traveling to the other side of Charlotte if necessary.

http://www.myersparktailors.com/ - Just had a suit done by Walid last week. Nailed the exact fit I wanted to achieve without me having to tell him what I wanted. Haven't had any work done at House of Abbeydale, but their spot and picture seems pretty nice. Bought a shirt last week from them which I haven't picked up yet. Interested to see how the quality will be.
