Does anyone have a recommendation for an accountant to work with freelancers/self-employed individuals? If you have any recommendations, please PM me their name or contact info.
Thanks in advance!

When I was freelancing, Ronika was great to work with: http://www.montrealfinancial.ca
Can you please recommend a good Montreal-based accountant experienced with back taxes? My husband dropped the ball. He's a freelancer who hasn't paid his taxes in 10 years. But enough is enough - he'd like to take care of them once and for all.
He'd like to find an accountant somewhere in the city who's very experienced in dealing with back taxes and who can maybe help him communicate with the CRA.
For reference: He's an Ontario native and all of his previous jobs have been based there. Not sure if that makes a difference, so maybe also an accountant who is familiar with Ontario tax law as well.
We would be very grateful for any and all advice and recommendations! Thank you!

I had a few years of freelancing taxes I didn't do (less than your husband, but more than one!) and I had Ronika at http://www.montrealfinancial.ca do mine. She also helped my girlfriend (also a freelancer) with her move from NS to QC. Ronika is awesome, got me a bunch of deductions, isn't judgmental that you haven't done taxes in years, and fast! I had her do years of taxes and even got into the voluntary disclosure program so I saved some interest. I would recommend her. She saved my skin last April! :-) EDIT: and to clarify, Ronika knows QC and non-QC taxes; mine were NS and QC but I'm sure she can do Ontario stuff as well.
Je cherche un bon comptable / I'm looking for a good accountant Salut! Je suis travailleur autonome et je me cherche un comptable localisé à Montréal. Est-ce que ça existe des comptables spécialisés en travailleurs autonomes? Merci!

Hey! I am a self-employed worker and am looking for an accountant that works in Montreal. Do you know of any accountants that specialize in handling self-employed workers? Thanks!
