  So I got bad news at the dentist yet again yesterday and I'm ready to get a second opinion. It's my opinion that a lot of the problems I'm having now are due to substandard work and crowns that were improperly prepared and/or seated. All of the crowns are 6 years old or less. Now I'm being told I need to have over $2k worth of work done to deal with decay that these improper crowns nurtured and that the dentist has been seeing on my X-rays for years. I'm beyond annoyed.
