It needs to be close to a tube rental and needs a fire pit. I also need 3 bedrooms. We can really only afford about $400/night. Lots of people in Houston like to escape the city during the summer.   http://www.theotherplaceresort.com/index.html I stayed here as a kid. Since then, Schliterbahn has literally built a waterpark across the street. You can rent a tube at the resort, get in a truck and be driven to the top of the river, get dropped in, and exit on the banks of the resort an hour later (or however long it takes these days). Of note, you need to bring your own TV if you want to watch local stations.
