Womans hairdresser in Berlin Hey,
My girlfriend is finally taking the plunge and cutting her hair after not doing so in over 10 years.
Naturally she's a little worried about finding a good hairdresser in Berlin and with me not being a native here I'm not really much use :-(
Could one of you kind folks please recommend a good hairdresser? preferably around the Friedrichshain area.
Danke,
M

heidelbeerzeiten (http://www.heidelbeerzeiten.de/) in neuköln is very good, or if you want to spring some money the "young concepts" one of udo walz in schlüterstr. near savigny platz but honestly: if you stay away from the "chain" stores and the one that are obviously for old people - there are so many hairdressers in berlin that the bad ones usually give up fast, if you are worried ask how long they are existing already in that location.
Hi Guys, Doe's anyone know a good English speaking Barber? I was using a place in Kreuzberg, the guy had very basic English, which was fine when I was just getting my head completely shaved, but now I want a proper haircut, I would prefer a barber that spoke decent English.
Please don't hit me with "you should learn German" - I am, I just suck at it.

you could try taking a photo of the haircut you want with you the 2 hippest barbers according to the cool kids are pony club ( http://www.ponyclub-berlin.de/ ) and heidelbeerzeiten ( http://www.heidelbeerzeiten.de/ ) just dont mention the respective other barber at any of those, you might get your head shaved again, i think theres some story behind it :)
