Okay, does anyone know of a good barber who specializes in the shaping/trimming of relativity longer beards? I was originally going to post this in r/beards, but since you guys are a little more informed about the local scene, this will be a good start.
I have a beard that is probably a good 6-8” long and I’m looking for a barber in Boston/surrounding areas/North Shore. I’m not typically a “barber guy”, but I believe that they’d do the best job to help clean me up a bit. Somebody that’s not overly priced, would be a plus. North Shore is preferred, but not necessarily a complete inconvenience because I’m in the Boston area on most days for work,

Silvestro's in Malden is an absolute gem. I moved to the neighborhood last year, and I struggled to find a barber at first (I have a 5 inch beard that I just trimmed to about 3 inches). The guys at Silvestro's are legit, take pride in their work, and are very reasonably priced. A haricut and beard shaping/trim is $25 + tip. You can make an appointment for free online at their website. Book Kevin or Cory - they usually cut my hair and are great. The only drawback is they have limited hours on the weekend. https://www.silvestrosbarbershop.com/
Barber recommendations in the Boston area? My friend and I are looking for a new barber that knows how to cut a good disconnected undercut for white and asian hair. We've seen barbers who wet and comb hair to determine where the disconnect is before cutting it and barbers who just kind of just goes with the flow. We want a barber who does the first as the haircut will come out better. Someone who doesn't do a lineup unless asked.
Does anyone have any recommendations for the Boston Common, North End, West End, or East Cambridge areas? I don't mind going out a bit further if needed. Please include their prices as we have a budget.
