For London boaty people, Bob Black is an extremely useful chap to know. He is a marine mechanic, plumber, electrician, gas installer and all-round “bloke that knows a lot about boats”. No task is too daunting or trivial or messy: he’ll even fix your toilet if you ask him nicely.
He has a career as a navy mechanic, an M.Eng. in Marine Engineering from The Royal Navy and umpteen years experience in the marine service industry under his belt. Why don’t you know about him already then? Well, he’s has just returned from years of working as a skipper and engineering in the Mediterranean (so he can even discuss your boat fixing needs in Turkish, French or Italian if you fancy).
