  Without dental insurance, $1,000 for four fillings sounds pretty standard. I highly recommend Dr. Shelley Sigur at West Meade Dental. http://westmeadedental.com/ Also, you should consider getting dental insurance through the Affordable Care Act. I pay $22 a month. The four fillings I had a couple of months ago cost me $250.
