About us
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! My name is Sarita Gibbs, Owner of Happy Trails Pet Buddies. I have lived in the beautiful community of Painted Trails in Mission Viejo since 2000. I live with my husband, our two adopted chi-mixes, Ernie and Pete. Also, 2 funny and fantastic kitties (adopted brothers) Miso and Mori. I started HTPB because I want to spend my days doing something I love and am passionate about. There is not much I love more than animals, and I have a vast array of experience with my own pets and professional pet sitting. I’ve worked for a professional pet sitting company in my past, caring for a large variety of dogs, from teacup yorkies, to 120 pound Newfoundlands, vast array of cats, a pair of pygmy goats and even a family with 3 gorgeous parrots! I've cared for “special needs” dogs including my very special yorkie-poo, Pepper, who needed twice daily insulin shots in her last years of life. I have said goodbye to 4 of our babies, 2 of which we've had the privilege of loving and caring for since puppyhood. Senior dogs (and cats) do hold a special place in my heart, but I love caring for puppies as well! Energetic puppies and dogs are fine with me! I have plenty of energy to give them a fast paced walk or run if that's what they need! I have been loving and caring for animals my whole life, and I have yet to meet an animal that didn't leave a mark on my heart.
One of my biggest concerns when I needed to be away, was leaving our beloved pets behind. Having a caring Pet Sitter in our home gave me such a peace of mind, that I decided this is exactly the kind of service that I want to provide for others! I will love and care for your most precious family members, and give you the peaceful knowledge that I will take care of all their needs! I will make sure they are safe and happy until you return!
I am trained in pet CPR and first aid. I am also insured, bonded and background check verified.
