  I haven’t been to an all-inclusive resort since our honeymoon in 2000. We’ve had two kids since then and would love to do another all-inclusive with them during spring break. Wish me luck at finding something fairly affordable between March 22 and April 2 (give or take a few days). Any recommendations for affordable 3 or 4 star beach resort accommodations are always welcome. We are flexible on country although finding reasonable accommodations is proving to be quite the challenge. My main question is this though... since my kids (11 and 13) are considered free stays at certain resorts, it doesn’t seem to make sense to pay the all-inclusive fee for children who don’t eat much and definitely don’t drink alcoholic beverages. Is there a way for my husband and I to pay the all-inclusive package for ourselves, but only the airfare price for the kids? (since apparently their stay is free at certain resorts). Sorry for the long post. I just love this group and hope people might be able to help provide me with some guidance or assistance. Thank you in advance.

  We are looking to escape the cold for a while in the new year. Would you recommend a cruise or resort (or something else) with a 1 year old and a 2 year old. We realize it will likely not be too relaxing with the kids, but we are cold and haven't traveled in a while.

  I thought I read with cruises they have to be potty trained to even use the pools?? Maybe that was for just Disney cruises? I could have really misread that when I looked into it though.
