Persimmon Lane is home of a gorgeous 5-acre farm in Northern Calvert County. The 1920's farmhouse is inspiring and charming. Moving here became the catalyst to finally take the leap of faith to “officially” become a photographer, though I’ve held a camera in my hand ever since I was little; I bought my first DSLR almost a decade ago! Persimmon Lane Photography unique with the ability to build sets for shoots, but also offers breathtaking outdoor landscapes. There’s a red sun-faded barn, long sprawling white fences and a tall line of trees skirting the property. In early spring we have a 10 foot wall of bright yellow forsythia bushes blooming, followed by cherry blossoms that softly drape. We have a weeping willow tree, 2 tire swings and a Sycamore tree that has a base as large as a truck! Last but not least, the fields tumble over with millions of buttercups in spring and there are spots on the property that are just waiting to be discovered. We currently have 12' mammoth sunflowers growing! It's truly a place of wonder, and you'll never get scurried away like at a local park and forget about harsh flash photography like at the mall! I’m open to exploring creative possibilities and my favorite part is connecting with my clients. I want to see you smile!
