HELP! Need restaurant ideas for a cheap romantic dinner date My GF's birthday is next TUesday (2/21) - It is her 25th birthday and I would really like to take her somewhere nice for dinner.
We will be dining and dancing with her friends this weekend, which will for sure leave me very light on cash.
Open to any type of food - just looking for a place with nice atmosphere - (not looking to get dumplings at Prosperity - as delicious as they may be :)
Hoping to keep the evening to somewhere around $50/$60 bucks?
Been living in the city for 5 years now and know a dinner/date can be a difficult task at that price, but thought I would pose the question to the keenest individuals there are: Redditors! :)
I live in Williamsburg, she on the LES - location is not really an issue - up for whatever - just thought I would give the locations for reference.
**ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Thanks so so so much!!!!**

I'd check out [Pepe Verde](http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/pepe-verde-to-go/) on Hudson St in the West Village. It's great italian food and most entrees are less than $15, closer to $10. It's a nice little place, with an unfortunate emphasis on little and they don't take reservations. That being said, you can usually get a table for two without much of a problem. Good Luck! Also, after you could check out [The Other Room](http://www.theotheroom.com/) on Perry St for a drink afterwards.
