About us
Located in University Village, an open-air shopping center, which offers locally-owned boutiques and signature retailers, Piatti is a beautiful space that features rustic Italian fare, a lively bar scene, engaging activities for the little ones and a seasonally-driven, market-focused menu.
Menu: Piatti is know for its seasonally-changing menu of wood-burning oven pizzas, homemade pastas, soups, salads, sandwiches and main dishes. Depending on what’s in season, the menu could include dishes such as Poached Tuna Salad with white beans, spinach, radicchio, lemon aioli; House-made Fennel Sausage Pizza with ricotta, chili, red onion, taggiasca olives ($14); Homemade Spinach & Goat Cheese Ravioli with sage butter, parmesan ($13/19); Grilled Skirt Steak with arugula, grilled onion, winter root vegetables, aged balsamic and shaved parmesan ($24); Grilled Salmon with fennel and orange salad, red onion, black olive, arugula ($27); and the classic Pappardelle Bolognese with herbed ricotta ($13/19). Our philosophy is simple: combine authentic, flavorful cuisine with an approachable and interesting wine list, many of which are served via barrel-to-table program, a comprehensive offering of craft beers and unique, artisan cocktails.
Bar Program: Full bar, local tap beers, wines and signature cocktails round out the experience at Piatti. Cocktail selections (all $10-12) from Bar Manager Robb Sheldon include the Village Saint, gin, Herbsaint, Lillet Blanc, orange bitters; the Dragon’s Toe, bourbon, ginger juice, cucumber, ginger ale; the Nonantum, rye whiskey, Strega, Punt e Mes, Angostura bitters, orange bitters; the Delta Buck, Buffalo Trace bourbon, Ciacarro Amaro, lime juice, ginger beer. The brews on tap (all $6) change often and are tilted toward local Pacific Northwest area selections, such as Manny’s Pale Ale, Pike’s Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale, Boundary Bay IPA and Portage Bay Pilsner.
