  Recommendations for a casual bar for birthday gathering Hello friends, I'm throwing a little birthday gathering (8 or so people) this Friday, and I'd like to find a casual place where people can come and go as they're available. Ideally I'd like to not have to sit at the bar, but not feel too bad taking up a table for a few hours. This Friday happens to be Cinco de Mayo, and I'd like to avoid the associated crowds to whatever extent possible... so probably not Mexican restaurants or neighborhoods known to draw young drunk crowds, but I'm pretty much open to whatever.   [The Belgian Beer Hall](http://www.dekleineduivel.com/) in Hampden would fit the bill. It's a chill atmosphere with plenty of room and a really good selection.
