Traditional Danish/nordic restaurants in Kbh First of all I would like to say how amazing this subreddit is. I'm amazed at how friendly the interactions are around here :)
I'm going to get married in Copenhagen to a beautiful and lovely dane by the end of this month and my family is coming from Spain for the wedding. I'd like to take them out for some traditional danish/nordic food but I'm a bit lost. My gf is very much into the food scene in cph but sadly doesn't have much idea about nordic-specific affordable restaurants. I know few places that would go out of the category I'm looking for (budget-wise). I'm looking for some nice suggestions for nordic food that are not Michelin star but are not a smørrebrød takeaway. There must be something nice in between. Any suggestions and aprox. budget?
Thank you!

It might be too pricey, but [Aamanns 1921](https://aamanns.dk/aamanns-1921/) is a great place for a faithful interpretation of the danish smørrebrød. Tiny bit of a posh atmosphere, but great, great food. I haven't been there yet, but [Guldkroen](https://www.guldkroen.dk/) has some of the Danish classics made with heartfelt love for grandmas kitchen....-lively atmosphere too, by the look of it. The price is right, and you can challenge your father in law to an eat-all-you-can of stegt flæsk! (pork rinds, basicaly bacon without the smokiness)
Hello! It’s my last night in Copenhagen tonight, it’s been wonderful. Looking for a traditional Danish restaurant to spend the last evening in. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where to go for an affordable meal? Thanks in advance!

Go to [Guldkroen 11](https://www.facebook.com/Guldkroen11/)! All you can eat crispy pork on Sunday with all the trimmings, super over the top Christmas decoration and terrible tacky music. It's fantastic:)
