Looking for Italian restaurant with weird mural My boyfriend and I are going to San Antonio this weekend, and there's this restaurant he's been to that he said had super authentic Italian food.
It was on the Riverwalk, but not so close to the mall. He also mentioned there was a very distinct mural of a one-eyed lady eating pasta or a man dressed as a lady eating pasta. He said it was something funky eating pasta, so I apologize now if you are a one-eyed lady or a man who dresses like a lady.
I need your help! I figured somebody who actually lives there might be more instrumental than my Google searches for "San Antonio Italian restaurant mural," etc. have been.
EDIT: It was Dolores del Rio. That place closed down, and Bella on the River is the tenant there now. I still don't know what my bf was talking about with the mural. He said it was painted on a wall outside the restaurant. But who knows?
Thank you /u/terselated and /u/ImagineFreedom

This may be a long shot but the descriptions you're providing kinda seem to match this restaurant: http://www.guillermosdowntown.com/ Near the Majestic but not quite on the river. I don't remember seeing a painting you mentioned but it does have a nice cozy ambience. Oh and we got free wine samples and the food is pretty good. Hope you find it!
