  We've been going to the Brook House in Greece for over 25 years. http://fedelesbrookhouse.com/ Not "fancy" in the traditional sense, but a very nice place with amazing food, and the owner is usually there, acting as host, or at the very least, personally visiting each table to ask how the meal is.
