My passion for baking began as a child, admiring and observing the work of my grandmother as she decorated the beautiful wedding cake for which she was renowned.
I completed my studies at Warwick Chef School in 2003, after which I went to London to further my career as one of the top 5 graduates, spending 2 years working at the Mayfair Hotel in London making starters and desserts. On my return to South Africa I worked at Arabella Hotel & Spa for a period of 2 years in the Premier Restaurant.
My love of painting and the art of baking combined, to form a unique combination which enabled me to follow my grandmothers footsteps.
My story is ultimately about mixing my passion, love, creativity and attention to detail to create YOUR dream into a work of art – a cake!
