Gifted to Bromyard Urban District Council by Lucy Kempson in December 1946 for outdoor recreational purposes.

In 1973 the town council established the charity which remains responsible for the park, with the town council as trustees.

Thats a few of the bits of equipment we have at the Kempson Players. We also have a large flat football pitch area, adult/ teenager swings, climbing frame see saw other equipment and a skate park. You can access the car park by following York road to the end, York road is just off old road, or as said above turn up the hill opposite the big Co-op and turn the second left onto Lodon avenue.
