  http://spigaristorante.com/ 18 highland circle, needham. close by, not too expensive, emphasis on service, you won't be the only person celebrating a birthday there, at least i wasn't when my wife and i went for midweek bday dinner last march

  Spiga in Needham. Authentic Italian food, better than anything in the North End, and plenty of on site parking. New Chef/owner Marisa Iocco is amazing. They have small plates. Food is exceptional and restaurant is newly renovated. It’s quiet, and perfect for a special occasion.
