About us

My name is Helen and I'm the face behind Pongo and Pembe.

In December 2015, with a desire to be at home with my 2 small children the idea for Pongo and Pembe was born. We have been working hard through 2016, playing around with different materials and discovering the possibilities we now have available to offer our customers. The interest from friends and family has been huge during this time and they have kept us busy with their gift and product suggestions.

In September 2016 we were finally ready to start sharing the personalised gifts we had been creating and Pongo and Pembe was a reality. I am very excited about our beautifully engraved products that are personal but that can also add an extra special touch by including children's hand writing and drawings.
