The purpose of the Queensland Arboricultural Association Inc. (QAA) is to preserve, protect, maintain and enhance the environmental, aesthetic and recreational value of trees, and to promote and enhance Arboricultural practices and management within the State of Queensland.
The QAA is a Not for Profit incorporated association representing arborists in Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
The association is run by a committee of professionals who volunteer their time to promote best practice in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries.
We aim to raise member and public awareness through Education, Training, and events and by encouraging compliance with Industry Best Practice.

Gold C. asked:Anon post no. 721 Does anyone have any experience and suggestions in appealing Council decision to not allow removal of 4 large gum trees in private backyard? They are huge and we are concerned they are dangerous and could potentially uproot and fall wholly or partially. Limbs have already fallen and caused damage. Council says trees are healthy and no need to remove. We feel otherwise.
