I'm also very skeptical about this because I've done some research and found many horror stories and I also know that a-lot of these procedures are irreversible. I don't want to just randomly choose a location to have a consultation done. Does anyone know of any well reputed or reliable locations in Charlotte for this kind of thing? Tl,dr Teeth are a wreck.   Dental student from Charlotte here. There is a guy in Blakeney named [Dr. Phelps](http://www.northcarolinasmiles.com/) who I shadowed a few years back. He is pretty good and his fees aren't tremendously high. I know a few others as well depending on where you live around Charlotte. [Dr. Phillippi](http://www.universitydentist.com/) in North charlotte (university area) is one of the most talented I have seen and had the lowest fees as well. He will steer you right.
