  Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and can suggest what type of tradesman we would need to get in to sort it (recommendations very welcome!)? It's a newly (very badly) plastered and painted wall, it is an outside wall on the other side with nothing against it, the patch is halfway up the stairs in a 1940s house. The wall doesn't appear wet at all but the blistering is spreading and in more than one place. We've tried a couple of sealants to no avail and are stumped
