About us
There are so many benefits to choosing the right childcare. Home based childcare has a maximum ratio of one teacher to four children.
Children benefit from being in a boutique learning environment where they are part of a small learning group with one qualified teacher to build trusting relationships with.
We only use Teachers who have a Diploma or Degree in Education in our network. We believe that in order to provide a high quality education, teachers must have the theoretical understanding of how children learn. Having completed their studies, these teachers understand that it is not about providing a child minding service, but that their work is focused on providing rich child initiated experiences. Engaging the children in areas of their interest has been proven to provide better opportunities for learning.
With a small group size the relationships developed ensure the children enjoy a rich and meaningful dialogue with their teacher and peers. This allows the teacher to gain a deeper understanding into each child’s experiences and interests allowing the teacher to further enrich the experience.
Unhurried time is a natural aspect of Beanstalks - the freedom of time allows children that are working on projects to enjoy sustained periods of time without interruption.
Our qualified teachers are supported by Network Co-ordinators, with monthly one-on-one meetings discussing children's learning and interests. Teachers collaborate with other teachers in the Network and attend regular Professional Development sessions to ensure that they are always up to date with the latest research.
