  Laurie S. wrote: Last Chance Repair came out to our place up country in Georgetown to diagnose the problem with my log splitter motor. They respected the work that I had done to try to fix it myself and didn't spend a bunch of time going over that; they just checked to make sure I had everything hooked up correctly and moved on to figure out the problem. Jason found that the governor was broken down inside the engine and gave me the choice of having him take the engine apart or simply buying a new motor, which I did from Harbor Freight. They never pressured me to choose the more expensive option of engine repair and he and Kyra came back out five days later to take off the old engine and install the new one. Frequently, mechanics talk down to a woman but never did I get anything but respect and genuine caring about my log splitter problem and their strong desire to make it work for me, especially since we only bought our place in October and we didn't have firewood stockpiled. I was chainsaw cutting and hand-splitting wood every day to keep up with the demand, but now that my log splitter works perfectly I was able to build a small stockpile before our latest one-foot-plus snowstorm. I will be having them come out to service a generator that came with the property and needs some TLC after sitting for a couple of years. I highly recommend them to any and all! They are honest, caring, and will do their best to help you with your small engine problems!
