GENTLE HANDLING: Excessive force is never used!
DEMATTING: We will not demat excessively matted or pelted pets. Dematting HURTS! It is also time consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems. Small tangles and knots are not a problem and will be removed without causing pain or discomfort. Sometimes the pet is so badly matted that the hair must be completely clipped off, allowing new, healthy hair to grow. Excessive matting can be avoided with regular brushing and grooming and we will be happy to show you some brushing techniques for mat prevention.
PET TEMPERAMENT: I am aware that not all pets are "perfect" and some have "moods". I welcome those personality types as part of my job. For the benefit and safety of all, I reserve the right to refuse service to those that I feel pose a danger to themselves, the groomer or any other party. I DO NOT GROOM AGGRESSIVE pets!
CANCELLATION POLICY: I request that Cancellations be made within a minimum of 24 hours of the originally scheduled appointment. I under stand that life happens and for this reason the first time is excused. However habitual no-shows will have a fee of half the total of service to be paid prior to the next appointment.
We reserve the right to cancel due to weather, illness or unforeseen emergencies.
( In any of these cases, your appointment will be rescheduled within a reasonable time frame).
ALL severely matted pets WILL be shaved for the health and safety of the pet!
Please do keep in mind professional grooming involves time, labor, patience, and LOTS of love.
