From my mother:
Ok. I did not want to blast the company that is doing my siding on social media, but after trying to have a conversation with the new "foreman" that just showed up today, I changed my mind. He is an arrogant man!!!
FYI - we signed a contract March 21st and paid half the money down to have 1 window (which we had already bought), a front door w/storm door and a back door (which we also already had), siding and gutters put on our house. Not cheap. This company had put a new roof on neighbor's house a couple of years ago. Thought they did a good job. They told us color was special order and would be 3-4 weeks before they started.
Fast forward to May 28th - when they actually started. I was already upset that it wasn't done. We got 2 guys as a crew. The foreman that had lots of years as a carpenter but had only sided 3 or 4 houses, and a 25 year old kid that thinks he knows everything because his Dad is the arrogant "foreman " that showed up today.
I went out to point out some things, again, that we are not happy with. He basically blew me off, said things weren't going to be perfect and implied we were nitpicking. He said he was there to do a job and not socialize and walked off. So.....
DO NOT EVER CALL COUNTRY CARPENTRY OUT OF WESTVILLE!!!!! MARTIN LIPA IS THE OWNER'S NAME !!!!!
I believe the biggest complaints would be:
1. The behavior of the new foreman, which you have failed to address in your reply. As a representative of your company in the field, he should be displaying the utmost respect for your clients. His treatment of my mother today is both disgusting and angering. A customer paying as much as my parents should not have to point out the numerous faults in workmanship to your crew (mostly attributed to the "new" foreman's son). Furthermore, they should not be reprimanded for pointing out these faults (poor workmanship which should not be occurring in the first place). Finally, THREATENING TO WALK OFF THE JOB and walking away from a paying customer should not be a practice your employees engage in. Simply rude, and can't believe as an owner you would allow this.
You recommend that we contact your office this leads me to the next point.
2. Ownership does not return calls in a timely manner.
ISO a roof contractor
$1 - Sheldon, Illinois
I need a roof contractor that is licensed and insured. I need to get an estimate to replace or repair my roof
I need a contractor to come out and do an estimate on my roof because Dish Network left holes in it. Have to have claim done by the 20th or they're going to drop the claim and leave the holes. If anyone knows of any, please let me know.
