The City Island Chamber of Commerce was established over 100 years ago as the Board of Trade. The Chamber represents the businesses of the Island, from its well-known restaurants and antique stores to fishing boats and real estate offices. The Chamber acts as a liaison to government and other organizations and works to enhance the businesses of City Island and its residents.

roy649 replied:I like [Carman's](https://cityislandchamber.org/listings/bronx/carmans-service-station/) on City Island. Been going there for years (I live in the neighborhood). It's a small shop. He used to sell gas, but tore out his pumps a bunch of years ago and now just does repairs. I like him, and I trust that he's not going to rip me off.
