Reactive Dog - Any Tips or Recommended Trainers? Mods, I can wait to post this in the casual Friday thread if this doesn't fit sub rules.
I'll keep the backstory short, but my wife and I are having a hard time managing our dog's leash reactivity. We tried a trainer who used more "positive" methods and that was helpful for small things around the house, but that didn't do much for the dog's lunging/snapping problems. We've tried a head halter, front clip harness, and a pinch collar and while the pinch collar has been a big help (and our dog seems to like it, the weirdo) his reactivity hasn't gotten better no matter what we try.
Does anyone have any pointers or local trainers they'd recommend?
