I have been a travel agent for over 14 years. I am an independent agent for Travel Masters whose head quarters are in Vancouver. I have traveled to over 60 countries so far and am able to provide real life advice to travelers who wish to see the world.

They're insistent on a physical travel agent (I get it, they're seniors and don't want to purchase anything online). Unfortunately, they've had less than acceptable customer service from AMA (they had them visiting places in Europe they never requested, trying to hit the whole budget) and the next travel agent kept pushing back the appointment, wasting their time. If anyone can please recommend a travel agent they've had positive experiences with in Calgary, or who you used to go to Africa for a luxury safari, please let me know. My parents aren't difficult people, they're super lovely and want to live out their dream. Thanks in advance!

Ive now just spoken to an agent whos said "yeah ill get you the prices in a few days". My only issue is that the first agent who "cannot" price up hotels does not charge a fee to plan the wedding etc and coordinate all our guests and talk to the hotel wedding dept, as she gets paid through flight seat sales and comes highly recommended. I want to use her but i also want/need to book everything asap as we have uk guests who need plenty of time to pay. We planned out destination wedding 22 months in advance. We started with a save the date to our guests saying what country and that prices would be available one year before the wedding but even though she couldn't give us exact quotes she got us a pretty accurate estimate when we booked with her 22 months out
