Can anyone recommend a physio center that will actually work on my injured body part? I find when you go for a physio assessment, most clinics seem to poke and prod you for a minute or two to determine the problem, then give you a list of exercises, quickly walk you through them, and rush you out the door. If I wanted a list of exercises, though, I hear there's a pretty comprehensive database on this website called "google.com".
Is there anywhere I can go, preferably in the NE area, where someone will actually work on my injured body part for the hour?
Needs to be an actual physio center and not a massage parlor, or I can't afford it.

I have had a few different injuries based on playing competitive racquet sports. I had NO luck from the Glen Sather, I bet they are good, but the person I had wasn't helpful. I have also been to the Leading Edge, and did not get much "hands on" treatment. I was recommended to go to Elevation Physio (http://www.elevationphysio.ca/) by a few friends and Albert is the best, and is hands on the ENTIRE session. Now, it depends on your injury level and what you need (perhaps add on massage therapy?) but he really has been the best I have found. I am not healed yet, but I have progressed further with Albert than any other person.
