About us
Caleb and his wife Chelsie along with their parents David and Rachel Clingen and younger brothers, Josiah and Jacob (well maybe not Jake, he'd rather be at a basketball game) have a passion, love, and respect for the sport of barrel racing but more importantly for the equine athletes that deliver heart pounding excitement run after run.
Along with the other areas of our lives, when it comes to our horses, we are careful to give credit to our heavenly Father the many blessings we have enjoyed, both in our accomplishments and our disappointments. We are so grateful for the opportunities that He has given us and for the lessons He has taught us and choose to honour Him in all we do!
Caleb & Chelsie met through barrel racing and got married in 2014, they now together as a husband and wife team train, sell and race barrel horses. Both Caleb and Chelsie’s stye of training complements each other and they are able to give each horse the necessary tools to become a successful barrel horse.
Our goal is to understand, and maximize the potential of the horses we run and train. Whether it be a young futurity horse, a tough 1d horse or a slower 'babysitter' our goal is to recognize, understand its potential and maximize on its capabilities.
Although Caleb has won multiple open titles, his love and passion is for young horses.His very first futurity horse was an exciting endeavour and was ECBF Year End Reserve Champion. She has continued her career in the Quebec Rodeo circuit. He also achieved the Amateur Championship title on this mare. His 2010 futurity horse Wild Speculation finished the year with an exciting Finals Championship Title. She now runs in Oklahoma.
We are thankful for the many folks that have 'coached' and helped our boys. Thanks to Bridgette Cheetum, Doug Chaney, Tandy Meyers, Carole Lampron, Craig Wittifield, Tommy Gee, and others for your encouragement, and expertise!
