EDITED REALISED I WAS SAYING LANDLORD WHEN I MEANT LETTING AGENT PROPERTY IS LET BY OWNER THROUGH AN AGENCY DIDN’T REALISE THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE. I am looking for someone that can treat and redecorate two bedrooms and a door / hall area that have major mould issues and give me receipts to hand to my landlord for them to pay for and same with someone to clean two carpets. For over a year now I’ve been trying to get this done and the letting agents have been fighting the owner of the property to authorise it so if I give them payment slips for work that’s been done and needs paid he will have to pay and I get the work that badly needs done sorted. Or if you can give me advice please the bathroom and kitchen and part of living room are bad too but I am more focused on the majorly bad areas. I am going to be going to the CAB and see if they can help and advise. I am looking for see about finding a new property but due to Dss only having £200 deposit in my deposit scheme & 5 dogs & 8 cats it’s hard to find a property and I shouldn’t have to give up my animals due to a shitty property owner. Please not the landlord is great the owner ignores the landlords calls, texts & emails and she’s been fighting him to get things sorted with the property since just after we moved in and ended up having to have our power shut down as the electrics where a complete shambles and the main power in line was arching and there issues.
