  Megan F. wrote: I dropped my 2 dogs off at 10 am for a grooming appointment on 10/7. I was in the area around 2 and called to see if they were ready before I drove back home. Owner stated they weren't ready because she had been busy with the Uhaul side of the business. She then calls me an hour later to tell me they were ready. My husband picks them up, and he drives them the short drive to our house. His truck is covered in blood when he gets home, my dog goes inside the house and proceeds to get blood on everything in the house. Her nails were cut wayyy to short and she had to be taken to the emergency vet. She is now on antibiotics to prevent infections. Now to get to the actual grooming, she shaved my two dogs down to the bare skin. It was so bad I cried all weekend. My older dog has clipper burns all over her stomach. I reached out to the owner immediately and told her all my concerns. She claims my dogs were matted and that's why they had to be shaved. I know that is a load of crap. I brush them every single day with slicker brushes and fine toothed combs. The fine tooth comb has teeth that is almost as close together as a lice comb. If they were matted I wouldn't have been able to get that through their fur every day all the way down to the skin. Their undercoat and all gets brushed like that daily. I think she ran out of time during her day renting out U hauls, shaved them, clipped their nails really quick and didn't give 2 cares about what they looked like. They are both very skittish now when I go to pet their heads. They tense up and duck down like I am about to hit them. I have never in my life hit these dogs and they haven't ever had that behavior prior to this grooming session. I would never use her to even wash my car. Let alone my dogs that are like my family.
