Established in 1760 on a land grant from King George II of England, our restaurant was once a stagecoach stop to many of America’s great founders and leaders. I was a teenager and was visiting in ‘85 and went to a restaurant in Richmond that was in a really grand old house that served southern fare. I think the menu was pretty limited. My 70+ year old cousins took us so I guess it was a “fancy” place to eat. My sister says it had House in the name but I can’t find anything that fits online. I’ll be in town next week and I’m trying to find out if it still exists. Thanks!
