Good morning!
We recently completed a build at the Croydon Olive Estate. As you can see in the photo, we opted not to build a wall at the back of our property as we wanted to maintain a feeling of space and create a feeling where the olive groves are a part of our garden.
Unfortunately, in the past week, two Cape Cobras have been found in houses very close to us and we just found out that the one that was found in a house in our street yesterday killed a large dog while in the house. We have a one year old toddler so obviously this is a big concern for us.
Does anyone have any suggestions for erecting a fence/structure which would look natural while being high and dense enough to keep snakes out? We'd really like to avoid building a wall as we love the feeling of space we have in our yard so any suggestions would be most welcome.
In the meantime, if anyone has experience with a product which will deter snakes, that would be a good starting point.
Thank you in advance!
