I’m heading to sunny San Diego this week and would love some recommendations for not to miss restaurants! Thanks in advance and I’ll try my best to bring the sun back home! :)

Evolution - vegan "drive thru" (they also have indoor/outdoor seating) fast food. It is really delicious and better than Veggie Grill, in my opinion. There is also another place that had the best vegan Mexican food, but I will need to go Google to remember the name... https://www.facebook.com/229211699850 Evolution Fast Food
I'll be in San Diego and Pasadena from December 27 to Jan 2. Can anyone recommend any vegan (or vegan friendly) restaurants in these 2 cities?
Thanks so much!

Ranchos cocina in North Park, just NP in general so many vegan options. (North Park is an area in SD) Evolution fast food is yummy too. In Pasadena there is Sage and Kindkreme and Kitchen mouse. So many options in Pasadena too just check Happy Cow. South of Pasadena there is a place called Fine Garden Vegetarian that serves vegan dim sum. Those are my must gos every time I'm in SD and Pasadena.
Headed down to San Diego for a week. Does anyone know of any vegan friendly restaurants there I should try?

Ali, we were just in San Diego and ate every lunch and dinner out, and never duplicated a place. Pamela did a ton of research on san diego vegan places, and every one was superb. Veggie Grill and Native Foods are there - chains, but awesome, and totally vegan. Also try Moncai vegan, Pokez in downtown area for Mexican. Lastly, Evolution fast food was great handheld food to take to the beach - the best tacos I have ever eaten in my life.
