Dear All,
Some advice re: servicing coal effect gas fires.
I have a rather elderly coal effect gas fire that is failing to light.
The ignition is sparking but the gas seems to cut out and fire won’t light up.
I’ve been quoted £80 for a service plus parts and £20 for a safety certificate.
Does this seem a reasonable quote?
Also can anyone recommend a reliable gas engineer?
I’m based off Lawrie Park Rd in Sydenham.
Many thanks
