  Can anyone recommend a local restaurant (HB, Canterbury, Whitstable) that has a decent vegan menu. I booked a table ages ago for four people on 14/2 at a restaurant I won’t name at the moment, because we use it a lot and more specifically, they had a good vegan menu and our friends are vegan. I received a text today telling me that they are not offering their al a carte menu on that day and there is only a set three course meal at a cost of £39.99!! I am really disappointed that this popular restaurant is cashing in on the commercial side of Valentines Day. I didn’t book the table on that date because it’s Valentine’s Day - I booked it because we have vegan friends arriving from abroad on that day. I will be thinking twice about using them now
