I'd love to find a hotel and spa within 30 minutes of downtown if possible, but I would definitely settle for a good spa in or near downtown. I'd like to give someone a gift of a hotel stay and some spa treatments, and I'm having trouble finding an all-in-one option. I'd be open to making hotel reservations and spa reservations separately if that's the best option. Thanks!

  This is the only one I know about around here: http://winstonsalemhotelandspa.com . I know someone who stayed at the hotel a few years ago and liked it well enough but don't know anything about the spa. Reviews seem to be mixed; a lot of them have to do with renovations, but I do not know if the renovations are still under way.
