Can anyone recommend a good financial advisor? I just got married. We make decent money for our age, but we should absolutely be putting away more. Also, we have debt that we would like to have paid off before we start talking about kids. Can anyone recommend an advisor that they've worked with in the past? Someone without a minimum net worth requirement?
Thank you!
Edit: I really appreciate the advice everyone! To those who say I don't need an advisor, I get where you're coming from. That said, I run 2 businesses in addition to my corporate desk job. I have little free time, and would prefer to spend it enjoying time with my wife, rather than poring over tax codes and investment accounts. Could I mow my own lawn? Sure. Do I pay someone else to do it? Absolutely, because the time I get back is worth the money spent to me.
