  Does anyone know if westjet has switched caterers back to better food? Sometime between our flights in August 2017 and our next trip in November 2017 (both were trips Yyc-yow) they changed caterers and the food was terrible in November. Everyone on board was complaining about it - not just us. We have upcoming flights again (we always book plus seats) and want to know if we should buy something at the airport to bring on board or if they’ve gone back to decent food? Does anybody know if they’re still using the same company they used in November?

  It was Westjet who did the stuff and now its done by Gate Gourmet. Since that switch its been different on selection and such. Not sure who provides the actual food tho

  I left a complaint with Westjet about the Chopped Leaf meals. We traveled Plus several times and got a kale meal that was disgusting. Nobody ate their meal and all complained. Flying Westjet next month and decided not to fly Plus because of that reason.

  We did buy on board with westjet a couple of weeks ago. It was chopped leaf and the food was horrible!

  I just flew Westjet (plus seating) over the weekend - had a yogurt parfait for breakfast on my trip there and a ham & cheese croissant/sandwich on the way back and both were great.

  Just messaged Westjet and they still use Chopped Leaf

  Just flew with WestJet and heard no complaints about the food. I love Chopped Leaf although I didn’t order on the plane. Folks beside me did.

  Our last flight took 2 hours just to get a drink! And yea, chopped leaf sandwich was yuk! Not sure whats happened to WestJet!? Buy after security. WJ is losing its flare. 😞also they didnt hire me years ago! Lol worked out well for me though! Lol
