Sanctuary for Health and Reconnection to Animals and Nature (SHARAN) is a non-profit organisation with the goal of spreading awareness about holistic health and an ecologically sustainable compassionate lifestyle. We believe that all life on the planet is interconnected. By reconnecting we can heal ourselves and the earth.
Our mission is to help people regain an optimal quality of life by guiding them to engage actively with their own health. We empower people to make long-term lifestyle changes that helps them to attain their peak health condition for life.
SHARAN consists of a growing group of doctors and professionals connected by the same vision of what it means to really be healthy. Our goal is to inspire others to reconnect to their natural state of perfect, vibrant health.
We have already positively impacted the lives of over 20,000 people in India and abroad.
A diabetes-free India
Thirty years ago only 5% of our adult population had diabetes, while today the number stands at more than 30%. Two out of three people with diabetes die from heart disease or stroke. Research indicates that people with diabetes may be losing between 10 to 19 years of their life.
All health and disease statistics and research indicate that diabetes is the new major health challenge of this century. Contrary what you hear, there IS a cure for diabetes. SHARAN assists you in preventing and reversing diabetes by identifying the causes of the disease and using food as medicine.
Our methods are based on scientific evidence. They have been used and tested by doctors all over the world and are becoming a part of mainstream knowledge in other countries.
