The idyllic country pub with warm friendly welcome and good hospitality. Large open fire and wooden beams in the bar area set the ambiance for this 18th century pub. Good selection of food, wines and real ales help make The Red Lion a good destination to meet with friends and family. A smart covered smoking area with log burner helps keep the smokers dry in the winter. There is good seating front and rear in the garden for those hot lazy summer days. The Red Lion is in a popular walking area for the South Downs National Park with Black Down Hill behind the pub.
