Llangollen Wharf is one of the major attractions in the North Wales market town of Llangollen and is now part of a World Heritage Site.
From the Wharf you can embark on either a horse drawn boat trip along the feeder for the main canal, or a motorised aqueduct cruise which takes you across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford.
Both these trips take in the magical sights and sounds of the beautiful Llangollen Canal.
Can anyone recommend anywhere doing afternoon tea on mothers day around llangollen
Mike C. replied:
Llangollen Wharf do a very nice afternoon tea and are in a beautiful setting. They make all their cakes and scones fresh on the premises and use local ingredients wherever possible. They also employ quite a lot of local people and put a great deal into the economy of our wonderful little town. https://www.facebook.com/horsedrawnboats/
Looking to bring my puppy into llan next Saturday, would love to go to lunch with her but I’m u sure if there are any dog friendly cafes? She’s only young and needs the social experience.TIA XX
