  We are trying to fix a leaking shut off valve in a house in Jeanette. We need the outside water shut off shut off to work on this problem. My question is do we call the water company and the city of Jeanette. Does anyone know if there is a charge from the water company to turn it off and back on again? Thank you

  Rick Monz plumbing 724-217/2194. There are a lot of things that could go wrong. Is the main water line copper or galvanized but could be very easy too. Water company will turn it off free of charge you can replace the main valve your self and call them back
