  I need a vegan pediatrician recommendation in South Charlotte. My 10 yr old informed his doc that he was a vegan to which she told us he would need a blood test every 6 months to be sure he is being "well nourished"...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That scared my son who hates needles. We won't be going back! So if my kid ate quesadillas and chicken nuggets at every meal he wouldn't need a blood test every 6 months...give me a break! End of mommy rant. Sorry!

  Hope this is allowed! Anyone have advice/info on raising vegan children? My one year old happens to be vegan, just because he eats what I do. He breastfeeds also. I’ve been googling but the info out there is all over the place, and some is scary. Also - does anyone have a recommendation for a holistic or integrative/functional medicine pediatrician?
