Can anyone make a recommendation for lunch in Manchester city centre? I know the usual suspects can do GF such as Pizza Express/Hut, so am after something a bit different, even a good burger joint perhaps! Any input gratefully received.

Well, there's a great one in Manchester!...not local I know, but if you fancy a shop, or a concert as well...really nice restuarant...Tony Blair even took the Chinese minister of something there once....but I can't remember the name...I was hoping it would come to me as I typed this!...maybe sweet mandarin?...but you should find it on google.
Hi. Me and my family will spend 3 days in London and 3 in Manchester in a couple of weeks. My oldest daughter is a celiac and a vegan. I would be very grateful for suggestions about where to eat and where to have afternoon tea. Thank you.

In Manchester I suspect that Sweet Mandarin could cope. Great gf menu with veg options. http://sweetmandarin.com
Help - we are looking for great #freefrom venues where you have eaten and had an exemplary service, and/or where allergens are listed on website or clearly on menu. Preferably individual venues not part of a large chain. We would like to feature them in our newsletter which is mailed to over 2000 caterers across all sectors of the hospitality industry.
We try to feature venues showing positive examples of what can be achieved. So fire away send me your best experiences and we will research their website and put them forward Thank you

I am staying in Manchester Saturday and Sunday night. Can someone with any knowledge of the city please recommend me a nice restaurant to eat out at both nights. Some close to Piccadilly Station. Nothing overly fancy, just a nice place for food and wine with your other half. Many cheers!
